CANING TECHNIQUES & OTHER PROJECTS
*Tip for beginners - use two colors of clay that will give you contrast, but when blended together still make for a useable color. This will help eliminate clay waste. Many of our examples, if they didn't work out the way I wanted would make a new color or a different hue of the same ex. (Blue & White = light blue) (Red & White = pink) (Yellow & Green = light green). All of these would still make for useable colors in other canes or claying projects. It would not end up being a pile of "mud" or "junk" clay as I like to refer to it. If you visited my studio photo's you will notice that I have several shades of the same colors in my storage bags. These were results of things that didn't work out, but still made for useable clay.
