This cane was constructed using the small square & quasar

Darlin' Designer Disk™ from the Geometric Kit.  The circle was 

used from the disks that come with your clay gun.

STEP ONE

Extrude two lengths of a yellow circle, eight lengths of the quasar and two lengths of the small square in contrasting colors as shown above.

STEP TWO

Place the circle in the middle of four quasar shapes as shown above.

STEP THREE

You will need nine even lengths of the x-pattern.  Piece together as shown above.

 

STEP FOUR

Taking the square lengths, fill in areas on the outer edge of the cane (note this will not be a perfect square, but during the reduction process it will meld together)

STEP FIVE

After reducing, cut into four pieces and assemble as pictured above.

FINISHED POLKA DOT

Try different variations and different colors of polka dots in the same cane.
