PREMO! SCULPEY CLAY WAS USED FOR THIS PROJECT.

It is recommended that you use this brand as it is the most durable

and will withstand any abuse the bracelet may take during wear.

FORMING THE BRACELET

Using the 1/2 circle disk from your regular clay gun, extrude approximately 1 foot of clay (your choice of color)

Use a round bake able object that is close to the diameter you want your bracelet to be.  (I used a pop can, which I learned from Syndee Holt, as this is the object she likes to use)

*Note the pop can bracelet is a little large on my small wrist but will work well when worn over a nice autumn colored sweater!

Wrap the object with a piece of paper or foil so you can slide it off after baking.

Wrap the clay around it and form a zig-zag pattern around the object with the extrusions.  Blend the seams the best you can.  It doesn't need to be perfect blends as you will cover these seams with leaves.  (Pictured I used two snakes side by side so the bracelet would be wider.)

Prepare leaves, if you haven't already done so.

To learn how to make the leaves CLICK HERE

Begin to layer the leaves on your bracelet.  As each leaf is applied, a needle tool is used to make the veining effect in each leaf.

Mix up the colors so you can see the definition of the leaves contrast.

Don't be afraid to layer them over top of each other and also to let the leaves hang slightly from the edges.   (For leaves that do hang over the edge, cut these a little thicker so there is no concern for breakage)

FINISHED BRACELET

Use  extra leaves to make matching

earrings & beads for a necklace.
